There are many problems facing the society today, but two problems stand out. The lack of education, and the difficult journey for water, both substantial factors to success and survival. Our product, the KinectoBike, is a revolutionary bike that gives people in developing countries the chance to provide for themselves and their families by giving them access to electricity, an efficient method of transportation, and time.
Digging Deeper into the Problem
Without education, children will be stuck in poverty, lacking a substantial platform to grow and reach their highest potential. In places like Somalia only 10 percent of their children go to school. Often, these children don't have the resources that they need, such as light. Many people in these developing countries have no access to light once it becomes dark, preventing them from studying or self-educating themselves once the long work day is over. The KinectoBike helps students in their educational journey by harnessing the energy used to ride the bike and generates lights and electricity for you to use at night. Rather than having light to use for studying, some students have trouble getting to school because it is so far away. The KinectoBike takes care of this problem, as it efficiently transports students to school allowing them to spend more time learning necessary skills and less time worrying about how to get to school. Women and girls are responsible for 78 percent of the water collection process in Sub-Saharan Africa, and with the females being concerned with that major issue, the world is losing girls from gaining an education. The KinectoBike is here to stop all of this, providing transportation, electricity, and time to all the students who have been dreaming of an invention like this.
